About Waterloo station

Waterloo opened in 1848 and is one of London's great historic railway stations, entered through the Grade II-listed Victory Arch. Its past includes everything from wartime memorials to the remarkable London Necropolis Railway, which once carried the dead from London to Brookwood Cemetery. Today around 70.4 million passengers a year use Waterloo, primarily travelling from Surrey, Hampshire and south-west London.

Those routes bring in a particularly valuable audience for networking and business networking. Many senior professionals working in central London live throughout the South West commuter belt, while the South Bank has become a significant business district in its own right. With the Waterloo & City line providing a direct link to Bank, the station offers an ideal opportunity for morning networking before commuters disperse across London, making it a strong location for focused business networking over coffee.
