About St Pancras / King's Cross station

This hub covers London's great twin termini - St Pancras International and King's Cross - which face each other across Pancras Road and share the busiest Underground interchange in the capital. St Pancras is the busier of the two, handling almost 39 million passengers a year beneath William Barlow's magnificent Victorian roof: home of the Eurostar to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam, East Midlands trains to Leicester, Nottingham, Derby and Sheffield, Southeastern high-speed services to Kent and Thameslink trains linking Bedford, Luton, Cambridge and Peterborough with Gatwick Airport and Brighton. King's Cross, opened in 1852 on the site of a former smallpox hospital, adds the East Coast Main Line from Yorkshire, the North East and Scotland - together more than 66 million passengers a year, surrounded by one of London's fastest-growing technology and creative districts.

That combination makes St Pancras and King's Cross an unusually strong location for networking and business networking. Eurostar and airport travellers, commuters from across six counties and people working in the technology, media and creative businesses clustered around Granary Square and the wider King's Cross estate all move through the two stations from early morning. Before 9am, an extraordinary mix of founders, investors, advisers and professionals is already passing through, making it ideal for informal networking and early-morning business networking.
